What A Difference A Day Makes

We have decided to take a daily trip to the house to document progress. The cement truck poured the footings for the addition today and they have begun to take down additional drywall upstairs in order to remove the old chimneys. Our heat source will be propane so we will only have a small vent pipe out the wall.

    Looks great so far. I guess it once had another version of a side wing, based on the framing you exposed. Very cool, guys!

    with the addition are you going to have a secret room in the basement or is that area getting filled in?

    Just dirt :) and an access from the original basement for plumbing
